Of Counsel
Paula Flowerday serves as of counsel to BNJ Legal, anchoring the firm’s probate, guardianship, and estate-administration practice. She brings more than three decades of Texas practice to families navigating the loss or incapacity of a loved one — independent administrations, muniments of title, guardianships, and the court work that estate plans sometimes require.
Before entering private practice, Paula served as the first General Counsel and Executive Director of the Texas Racing Commission and provided counsel to Texas governmental entities, including the Texas Legislative Council, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Denton County Probate Court. She is a qualified mediator — volunteering with the Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program — and is certified for appointment as attorney ad litem and guardian ad litem.
Paula earned her B.A. in History from Austin College and her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.
