Renee counsels Texas families and family-owned business principals on the work that determines whether wealth and a business move cleanly to the next generation. She is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — a credential held by fewer than 1% of Texas attorneys. Renee’s work spans advanced trust structures, multigenerational wealth transfer, tax-efficient gifting, gift- and estate-tax planning and return preparation, and the administration of estates and trusts.
Her practice is distinguished by a holistic approach: she works at the intersection of family dynamics, business succession, and tax efficiency, which is where most closely held businesses’ hardest planning problems live.
Renee earned her B.A. from Texas A&M University, her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law), and her LL.M. in Taxation from SMU Dedman School of Law. She is a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas and was selected to Texas Rising Stars in 2017 and 2019.
